How much does it cost?
When was the last time you did something just for yourself? Have you found yourself caught up in a list of life’s to dos? Are you struggling to keep your head above water? Are you focused on your show schedule and are struggling to remember why you started riding in the first place? If you’re struggling, you’re not alone.
Meet Alex
My favorite rides on my gelding, Hocus Pocus, feel like hitting a “pause” button on life.
They’re the rides where the world just melts away. There’s no pressure, no meetings, no do-or-die deadlines to hit; it’s just the two of us exploring and enjoying ourselves. And, at the heart of that bliss, there’s the thrilling feeling of being deeply tuned into my sweet, sensitive partner.
Perfect rides like these never last, but they’re what keep me coming back to the barn again and again.
Through my riding adventures, I’ve met so many likeminded peers—women who find refuge alongside their horses after conquering their professional to-do lists.
So, since 2019, I’ve used my camera to help others hold on to their “equestrian zen” by documenting the fleeting moments—those wild seconds—where all that matters is the connection shared between you and your horse.
I see these moments play out everywhere around horses, whether as an official show photographer or at a horse-and-rider portrait session. Like that triumph you feel after finally mastering a tough combination, or the way your horse’s breath on your cheek makes you smile brighter than any trophy could.
Much like our barn time, these moments never seem to last long enough. Through my images, though, I hope I can help you savor them just a little longer.

2. Reserve Your Session Date
Nobody likes the back and forth emails or phone calls associated with trying to schedule appointments. That’s why I made the process super simple! Select which day and time work best for you out of the available time slots, input your details, and bam! You’re done!
Worried about what times have the best light? I’ve already done all of the hard work for you! Each availability time is based on when the light looks it’s best each day!

3. Have Fun!
Once your session date is booked, I take care of everything else! Check your email for guides on how to prep and what to wear. Have fun! And after the session, I guide you through ways to display and share your artwork in a way that is authentic to you!
At Wild Seconds Photography, we know that you are the kind of person who wants to be seen and appreciated for all of the hard work you do on a regular basis. In order to be that way, you need to appreciate yourself first. The problem is you feel like you don’t have enough time to complete your to do list, let alone take time for yourself, which often leaves you feeling stressed and burned out. We believe that life is too short to get caught up chasing society’s endless should do’s. We understand how exhausting that cycle can be. That’s why we created portrait sessions centered around creating a safe and quiet space for both you and your horse. Here’s how it works. 1. Decide on your goals. What do you want to get out of our time together? 2. Pick a date and time slot. 3. Have fun, treat yourself and enjoy your session! So book your session today, so you can take a pause from chasing achievements, and start enjoying the journey.
